  1.             Welome to the eXpress Response System (XRS)!

  3. The Computer Associates of Louisiana BBS is pleased to announce the
  4. addition of the eXpress Response System, written by Mike Ratledge.
  5.  
  6. XRS is an exciting new way to get all the messages you are inter-
  7. ested in and =READ THEM AFTER YOU LOG OFF=.  This new system allows
  8. you to do the following:
  9.  
  10.    1.  Custom select the Message Areas =YOU= want to read
  11.    2.  Collect =ALL= the new messages in these areas
  12.    3.  Pack them in an archive and send them to your computer
  13.    4.  Let you read them while off-line!! The package includes an
  14.        EXCELLENT full-screen editor that lets you read, reply and
  15.        edit all your messages.
  16.    5.  Pack your replies and send them back to this BBS where they
  17.        are automatically placed in the correct message areas just as
  18.        if you wrote them there!

  20. Your "selected" areas can be quickly and easily changed as often as
  21. you like.  =ALL= messages addressed to YOU are sent to you even if
  22. they are in an area you haven't selected so you never miss a
  23. message.

  27. To use the eXpress Response System:
  28.  
  29.     1.  You must have an IBM or compatible system.
  30.     2.  You will need the eXpress Response (XRS) Software package
  31.         which you must register for a one time charge of $20.00.
  32.         The package works with ANY of the popular Terminal programs
  33.         such as Procomm, Telix, etc.  It will work with both Hard
  34.         disks =AND= FLOPPIES!
  35.  
  36. If you would like to use this new system for your message retrieval,
  37. just download the proper XRS files from this BBS and look for the
  38. <X> menu option in the Lobby that gives you access to the eXpress
  39. Response System on the Computer Associates of Louisiana BBS.
